The client is located in Europe, however part of his business is located in Russia, so he didn’t want to stay in hotels while traveling to Moscow, and decided to buy a small apartment to stay in.
The apartment has a stunning view and is located very conveniently in the city. The client asked to have a chalet and men's cave feeling when he is at home. He said he doesn’t need any specific working space because he loves doing his paperwork while being on a comfortable sofa. He doesn’t cook much, and his apartment complex has a couple of good places where he can eat or order, however, he asked for a small kitchen and fancy fridge. Also, an important point was to have a proper bed, despite the apartment is only 32 Sqm. All storage we created as a built-in, so you almost can't recognize them being there.
In creating this space we were following all requesters of our client, making accents on the most important moments. The mood and atmosphere are completely aligned with the vision of our client. We faced some difficulties because of the size of the apartment, but eventually, we won this game. The result is amazing, when you are in the apartment you don’t feel like a tiny space, you have a huge sofa, proper bed, kitchen, chilling and reading zone on the balcony, big shower, and even a special laundry space, so the client has his washing machine in a convenient space.
The fireplace became the unique feature of this apartment because it gives a very cozy and warm feeling of home.
