The interior design project for the office of Universal Music Group was a big and interesting project. The company is very open-minded and asked for something which is out of the box.
Besides the main office, which is about 600 Sqm we were working on Zoom Room - a new type of meeting rooms, Executive manager office and meeting zone, a couple of common zones for employees and guests, we upgraded kitchens and other facilities. However, the most unusual space was the coworking/meeting room/concert hall.
The company asked for a space where they can organize music/partners/corporate events, which they can use as a proper working space in the daytime in the daytime. As a result, we have a 3 levels amphitheater. During the daytime, the first level is the aisle from the main reception to the office area, the second is the perfect area for meetings and brainstorming, and the third level has 2 big bar tables, which are perfect for the parties as a real bar of as a coworking space for 6-8 people.
The style we picked with the client for this project is upgraded loft. We picked it considering the location of the office and the building itself. It is located in one of the best loft districts in the heart of Moscow, the building was built 156 years ago and used to be a gas holder.
